The number of acid attack victims in Isfahan, central Iranian city has gone as high as 15 according to reports from sources inside Iran. But the government has acknowledged 6 attack to reduce tension and avoid any wide spread protest among the people.
These attacks have mainly been centered in Tohid, Mehran and Nazar avenues. Although some government agencies speak of 4 arrests, but other agencies involved denied any arrests so far saying the investigation in continued.
This has raised many eyebrows and many analysts wonder as to how the security officials who have pride themselves with firmness in action and fighting foreign spies, are unable to make any arrest, this shows they themselves are involved in this heinous crime.
