
Zahedan
According to new details received from clashes taking place on Sunday, December 15th, in Bagheri Avenue in the city of Zahedan, southeastern Iran, at least 5 ‘Mersad’ units linked to the terrorist Quds Force. Colonel Dashtizadeh, commander of the Advice Police in Sistan & Baluchestan Province, was seriously injured in these clashes.
In these clashes that continued for 24 hours, 8 paramilitary Basij members were also severely wounded. Forces of the Revolutionary Guards stormed into the Bagheri Avenue following the clashes and arrested around 80 locals, most of them consisting of women, children, the elderly and especially youths.
Sistan & Baluchestan
Three IRGC members in the city of Saravan died due to a bomb explosion. Rajali Sheikhzadei, security deputy of the governor, told the IRGG’s so-called Fars news agency that on Wednesday, December 18th, at around 6:30 am a vehicle belonging to an IRGC engineering unit hit a booby trap killing the three IRGC personnel.
