Based on reports from an Iranian regime state-run media outlet, senior IRGC officer Hassan Moghadam was among those killed in Saturday’s massive explosion at the Revolutionary Guards Modaress Garrison, located west of Tehran. Moghadam was the mullahs’ most senior missile units’ commander, receiving training in China and N. Korea.
Alireza Hemmati, commander of the Bassij counter-intelligence unit in the town of Malard (near the Modaress Garrison) was also killed in this explosion.
Fateme Ali, a member of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) Security Commission said to the state-run ILNA news agency: “A session will be held in the commission to weigh the various aspects of this explosion.”
