Youth residents of the historic and ancient city of Isfahan, central Iran, have on several occasions damaged and torn off street signs with the Supreme Leader’s name on it making a ridicule for every bystander who passes by that sing, according to local reports.
In some cases, the replacement sign was destroyed virtually as soon as the municipality installed it in place of the one that was previously destroyed.
The latest reports indicate that the municipality has ceased to install replacements and has instead left the most recently toppled sign on the ground.
