Textile factory and bakery labor unions in the city of Sanandaj held protest gatherings marking May and chanted slogans against the Iranian regime’s policies. On Thursday, a large number of bakeries were closed, with their owners taking part in these rallies.
Regime security forces began threatening the participants in order to prevent a May Day march, including arresting three of the protesters.
