Iraqiya Coalition leader Ayad Allawi in an interview with Asharq al-Awsat daily said a visit to Iran is something that will never take place.
“There is no law governing Iraq,” Allawi said. “The judicial branch has been tainted with political influence… The status quo is leaning towards dictatorial trends that will eventually result in a full dictatorship.”
“A visit to Iran will never take place and this subject has not even come to my mind,” Allawi stressed.
