Two Baluchi youths from the city of Iranshahr in southeastern Iran were gunned down and murdered in cold-blood by Revolutionary Guards troops on Tuesday, September 8th. These two victims were Attaolla Damani and Iman Arzhang, a student of Zabol University.
This crime took place when the IRGC members opened fire on the two young men’s vehicle under the pretext of confronting diesel fuel smugglers. The vehicle then erupted in fire and both of its passengers were wounded. The IRGC members left them to be at the site.
People in the area were forced to rush the wounded passengers to a nearby hospital. However, due to their extensive burns and lack of supplies in the hospital they were immediately transferred to the Khatam al-Anbia Hospital in the city of Zahedan, eyewitnesses said.
Reports indicate Iman Arzhang first lost his life to his burns in the Zahedan hospital, and hours later Attaollah Damani also died to his severe wounds.
