Mullah Makarem Shirazi has been emphasizing on a plan for single-gender segregation in universities.
“We must stand firm on our beliefs, plans and laws of single-gender colleges in order to expand this policy,” he said.
“College officials must get permissions from the students’ parents and through such measures we can rid the effects of Western culture and prove our own words,” Shirazi stipulated.
