The UK Parliament condemning the criminal execution of PMOI hero Gholamreza Khosravi has infuriated the mullahs’ regime. Various state-run news agencies and websites responded to this issue using harsh rhetoric.
These outlets wrote pieces entitled ‘The meddling statement issued by the UK Parliament in support of the PMOI’, saying, “Lord Carlile, President of the Committee for Iran Freedom in the UK Parliament protested the execution of Gholamreza Khosravi. In a part of this statement, the PMOI has been cited as one of the main opponent of the Islamic republic of Iran.”
It is worth noting that the British Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom issued a statement on 1 June 2014 saying the execution of Gholamreza Khosravi, despite numerous urgent measures by Amnesty International and other organizations, is a warning sign that in the face of the Iranian regime there is no other path but punishing measures by the UN Security Council and sanctioning this medieval regime. The international community is obligated to prevent such executions and hideous actions taken against political prisoners in Iran.
