The Nurses Society in Tehran and all other cities in Iran announced they will hold rallies and gatherings from June 8th to the 27th, protesting the mullahs’ refusal to give even one rial to the nurses from the 100 trillion rials (around $3bn) supposedly allocated for reforming the country’s healthcare system. The nurses will place orange ribbons on their hands in a sign of their solidarity with this protest rally.
Hospitals in Ahvaz began these protests on Sunday, June 8th.
