Iran, April 5, 2018 – A group of teachers and human rights advocates, gathered on Thursday to show solidarity with their imprisoned colleague, in front of the school where he was teaching in the city of Shahriar, north west of Iran, and demanded his freedom. The protestors carried banners that read: “Free Mohammad Habibi” and “A teacher’s place is not in prison”, and “Mohammad Habibi is not alone.”
Mohammad Habibi was arrested in this same school by members of the IRGC, after they viciously beat him in front the bewildered eyes of his students.
