Isfahan: goldsmith’s strike
Gold merchants and goldsmiths in Isfahan bazar went on strike on Wednesday, Oct. 8th and closed down their shops to protest the government tax extortion and bribery.

In solidarity with the goldsmiths, other shop owners in the city’s main Bazar went on strike on Wednesday. They were also protesting government’s tax policies and extortion.

Khorram-Abad: Shop owners’ protest
A group of shop owners at the grand ’Rainbow’ shopping center, the largest in the city of Khorram-Abad, clashed with the State Security Guards, SSG, who were harassing them of the so called Islamic dress code of their shop employees. People also gathered and chased the guards out of the shopping center.
