IRAN, 7/11/2017— More than 200 people living on Saravan frontiers, on the eastern borders of the country, demonstrated in front of the regional governorate to protest the complete closers of all borders. They demanded that those borders be opened. The protesters said that no official is accountable and they do not know whom to turn to.

The closer of the borders has put huge burden on the people’s livelihoods whom reside in those areas and has made the living much more difficult for them. The official border checkpoints have been closed for more than a month and no one is allowed to leave or enter the country.
