Iran: Protest gathering in Tehran, Mashhad

IRAN,  July 11, 2017–  The plundered shareholders of Caspian financial institute, a company owned and operated by the IRGC, gathered in Pastor Sq. in the capital city Tehran on Monday July 10, 2017, to protest the company’s withholding their money and refusing to give their demands. They were chanting slogans against the government of President Rouhani and the Supreme Leader for ransacking their wealth.

In Mashhad, northeastern Iran, shareholder of the same company gathered on Koosangi St. in front of the courthouse demanding their ransacked money by the owners of the company. They chanted that the state television is behind the thieves.

The suppressive state security forces, SSF, attacked and clashed with the protesters. The security forces also attacked the women protesters by insulting them and tearing up their clothes. The women chanted “our police is disgraceful.” The women also said “this is the last warning, next is fire at will” responding to the Supreme Leader’s “fire at will” authority given to the basij militants. The women said this is our last warning and from now, we will take the matters in our own hands.
