Hundreds of workers of the “Safa” Pipe and Roller Factory, located on the Tehran-Saveh road southeast of Tehran, went on hunger strike protesting to two months of delayed wages. In the past months, the workers of this factory had staged strikes due to not receiving their wages.
Fearing the spread of this protest, the Iranian regime promised to pay the delayed wages of these workers in the upcoming days.
