The deputy energy minister in Hassan Rouhani’s cabinet reported water bills will be increasing in the coming days.
“Proposals presented by the Ministry of Energy to increase the price of water have been approved in the Economy Council,” said Sattar Mahmoudi on Tuesday.
“We cannot announce a precise figure of the increasing water bills. The Ministry of Energy intended to increase the prices by 20%, but it may be somewhat modified,” he added.
