Following a blaze engulfing over 200,000 hectares of fields in the town of Badra of Iraq’s Waset Province by unknown men, the mayor of this town said Iran is responsible for this blaze, Al Tagheer TV reported.
Jafar Abuljabbar Mohamed, the mayor of this town issued a press release holding Iran responsible for a large portion of this problem.
“This regime has blocked the water resources to the fields of Waset Province for years now, and this has led to the destruction of palm trees and fruits, and the quick expansion of blazes,” he said.
