
State Security agents tortured two political prisoners from the Baluchi ethnic minority community in Zahedan Central Prison (southeast Iran). These two political prisoners, Mohammad Shahbakhsh, 33, and Ismaeel Mohammad Zehi, 23, was wounded and arrested after state agents opened fire in an incident that took place 8 months ago.
Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Intelligence Organization agents placed these prisoners under harsh torture for 43 days with their hands and feet chained and in solitary confinement. IRGC torturers then transferred these prisoners to solitary confinement in Zahedan Central Prison where they were left to be without receiving any medical care for their wounds.
