
Nov. 29, 2016 – Political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran, have been deprived of any family visits for the second time this month.
Five of these political prisoners have been prevented from such visits as they refused to wear dirty and unsanitary prison uniforms, and succumbing to having their hands and feet cuffed and chained.
The names of these political prisoners are:
Hassan Sadeghi prevented from seeing his wife, Fatima Mothana.
Adel and Shamim Naimi (father and son) prevented from seeing Elham Farahani, Adel’s wife and Shamim’s mother.
Reza Akbari Monfared prevented from seeing his sister, Maryam Akbari Monfared.
Peyman Kubiak Baghi prevented from seeing his wife, Azita Rafi’zadeh.
