Iran punishes Christian convert with jail term

Iranian regime plainclothes agents arrested a Christian convert identified as “Fariborz Arazm” in the early morning hours of February 22 at his home in the town of Saveh, northern Iran. State agents reportedly transferred him to an unknown location.
Arazm is married with two children. He was first arrested on October 17, 2011 by four plainclothes agents at his previous home in the town of Robat Kareem, south of Tehran.
This new arrest of Arazm can be a sign of further pressure on Christian converts.
