The residents of Bandar Abbas in southern Iran disrupted Rouhani’s speech by chanting slogans and raising various placards protesting the regime’s plans to break up Hormozgan Province.
Their placards read, “Hormozgan is inseparable”; “Hormozgan demands an end to separation tragedy”; “Annul the juncture resolution” and “No to juncture”.
Rouhani admitted to the protests and said, “On the way, and now here, there are slogans. I want to promise to the people to not be concerned of such issues.”
