Hundreds of the residents of cities and towns on the banks of “Zayandeh Rood” river in Chahar-Mahal province, central Iran, rallied toward the “Zamankhan” bridge some riding their tractors protesting the digging of “Golab” tunnel that reroutes the Zayandeh Rood” water. They say the shortage of water due to rerouting portion of it would deprive their lands and agriculture from the very much needed water.
