Iran: pol prisoner banned from visits

Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence agents ordered political prisoner Ali Moezi, suffering from cancer, to be banned from any visits.
On Sunday, June 22nd, when the family of this inmate went to Karaj Central Prison to visit him they were told the prison council has decided to ban him from receiving any visits.
The prison council consists of regime officials such as Hosseini (prison warden), Marvat (deputy warden), Moghise (head of imposing verdicts) and Rezvani (head of prison intelligence).
Ali Moezi was arrested for taking part in a ceremony for martyrs Mohsen Dogmechi and Ali Saremi, and for the presence of his children in Camp Ashraf. He was sentenced to one year in jail, but despite the fact that his jail term is over the Iranian regime transferred him from Tehran’s Evin Prison to Karaj Central Prison.
Considering the fact that he is suffering from cancer, under orders issued by Ministry of Intelligence agents from the time of his arrest he has been deprived of medical treatment.
