Nearly 6 weeks following the kidnapping of Aria and Negar, wife and daughter of political prisoner Mashallah Ha’eri, there is no information of their whereabouts. Mashallah Ha’eri has family members residing in Camp Ashraf.
Aria and Negar were kidnapped by agents of the mullahs’ Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) and there is no information about their conditions or where they are being held. MOIS agents have threatened the relatives of this family to not follow up on the conditions of these two individuals.
Mashallah Ha’eri, a political prisoner who was also imprisoned in the 1980s, was arrested, viciously tortured and harassed once again two years ago on charges of supporting the PMOI, and for his son and brother living in Ashraf.
