Mullah Jannati at Tehran’s Friday prayer sermon said: “Hijab isn’t just a Sharia issue and it has an effective role in the society, it isn’t an easy issue, those were right you were willing to die in defense of the hijab”
Being the Secretary of the Guardian Council, he added: “I don’t know what must be done, a powerful department must be set up, individuals with full authority and facility must sit down and find a solution. I hold administrative officials responsible.” (State-run ‘Asr-e Iran’ daily – July 11, 2014)
