Iran, Kermanshah: Mine explosion kills a farmer

An anti-personnel mine remained from Iran and Iraq war led to the death of a deprived farmer named Nour Ali Safari, a resident of Qasre-shirin.
132 explosions of mines and other explosive objects which have remained from the 8 years of Iran-Iraq war has occurred in mine polluted grounds of Qasre-shirin during 2011-2014 period. In these incidents 122 persons have been injured and 13 killed. But the Iranian regime has done nothing to clean up the remaining mine from these polluted grounds since more than two decades.
The State run Mehr News Agency reported earlier that 126 people have been killed due to mine explosions left over from the Iran-Iraq war during past decade.
