
Seven young bloggers arrested by agents of the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence in various cities throughout the country are in very harsh conditions. These bloggers, aging between 19 and 27, are named: Iman Masjedi, Amir Lattifi, Mohammad Reza Golizadeh, Ladan Mostofi-Mob, Hanie Sane-Farshi, Hojjat Nikui and Sepahr Ibrahimi.
These bloggers are accused of “insulting the sacred, propaganda against the system, acting against the system, moharabe (enmity against God)” and other crimes. Based on a report issued by Reporters Without Borders, they were tried in court on 16 April 2011 and received sentences ranging from 5 to 8 years in prison.
