The mullahs’ regime ruling Iran is extremely concerned about recent developments and the prospect of the formation of the National Guard in this country, knowing this will endanger the Tehran-affiliated Popular Mobilization Forces consisting of Shiite forces.
“It appears that one of the most dangerous results of the National Guard formation – and which maybe the main objective of those behind this complementary bill – is the annihilation of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq. This plan can actually be a silent coup d’état against the PMF,” wrote the state-run Keyhan, known as Khamenei’s mouthpiece in Iran .
