Iran environment official: 1 in 7 deaths due to air pollution

The Tasnim news agency, affiliated to the Iranian regime’s terrorist Quds Force, cited Masoumeh Ebtekar, head of the mullahs’ environment organization, saying 1 in every 7 deaths in Iran is due to air pollution. She was citing statistics from the World Health Organization.
She described the existing benzene in the gasoline as being a serious element causing cancer, especially blood cancer.
Rouhani’s oil minister had said on 25 February 2014 that the country’s gasoline and petrochemical products are not according to international standards.
