Ahmadinejad’s economy minister Shams-addin Hosseini admitted international sanctions are having serious effects on Ahmadinejad’s government.
“Due to the sanctions, the country’s oil revenues have decreased by 50%,” he said in recent remarks.
“In this year’s budget, we had forecasted over $117 billion in oil revenues. However, due to the restrictions imposed on oil exports, we expect to gain only around $77 billion,” Hossein added.
