A huge explosion at Butane Gas Company in Yazd city terrified the people who live in that district. The explosion of a gas tank happened on Nov. 20th at Butane Gas Company located nearby Ta’avon intersection in Yazd. After this explosion, fire started and smoke filled the air, and frightened people ran out to the streets. The explosion happened at the time when fortunately none of employees were present in the company, except 2 security guards. And since they were in open area they escaped harmless.
Butane Gas Company is located nearby a residential area and also a short distance from government offices. The technical college students’ dormitory is also located near this company.  Students were shocked as they heard the sound of explosion.    
The explosion could have caused huge damages, if it had happened during working hours. Fortunately this explosion and fire had no human casualties.
