70 signatures have been gathered to impeach Iranian labor minister Abbas Akhundi, said MP Reza Shiran Khorasani.
“The plan to impeach Akhundi has been presented to the parliament’s board of directors to be reviewed next week. More than 70 MPs have signed this impeachment plan. This plan refers to the minister neglecting his duties and the recent train accident in Semnan,” Khorasani said in a recent interview with Tasnim news agency, affiliated to the Revolutionary Guards’ terrorist Quds Force.
The horrific collision of two trains east of Tehran on Friday left more than 45 passengers killed and 103 others injured. Many families across the country are grieving. Various factions of the mullahs’ regime, however, are taking advantage of this tragic incident to settle their own scores.
