The Iranian regime’s Social Security Organization deputy said in the past 18 months alone 50,000 female employees have been expelled from their jobs when on pregnancy leave.
“If pregnancy leave increases to 9 months the number of women that will be expelled from their jobs as a result will significantly increase,” the state-run ISNA news agency quoted this official, explaining that many people are willing to do the same work for lesser pay.
