Two Arab Ahvazi social media activists by the names of Saleh Tamuli Tarafi and Adel Sa’douni were detained after being summoned by Ahvaz Karound Operations.
Saleh Tamuli Tarafi, 33, is from the Kuy Alavi region, while Adel Sa’douni, 23, is a college student of this same area in Ahvaz. They are detained for forming pages on Facebook, receiving 3 years behind bars and a fine of 5 million rials.
These two Ahvaz citizens were released on bail last week but they were summoned and arrested again on Saturday, July 5th and then transferred to Karoun Prison.
