IFTU condemns teachers’ arrest in Iran

The International Federation of Teachers Union, having 30 million members in 171 countries, condemned arrest of the Iranian teachers by the clerical regime.

In an open letter, this Federation asked for release of detained teachers including Farzad Kamangar who has been sentenced to death by the mullahs’ regime,

This letter reads: Farzad Kamangar, 33, has a 12 year background of teaching in the township Kamyaran. His trial and judicial process has not been legal, and no evidence proving his allegations regarding measure against the national security is found.

Also the Left Party of Sweden and a number of other parties and human rights organizations in that country condemned arrest of teachers and release of death sentence for Farzad Kamangir.
