BRUSSELS – The EU vowed Wednesday there would be “no blanket returns” of asylum seekers to Turkey under a deal both sides hope to seal at a summit in Brussels to curb record migrant flows.
“There can be no blanket returns,” European Commission Vice President Frans Timmermans told a press conference on the eve of the summit.
