Last night, simultaneous with the Yalda Night (longest night of the year and a celebration night for Iranians), families of the jailed students gathered in front of Evin Prison and asked for immediate and unconditional release of their children.

The gatherers lighted candles in cold weather at the beginning of darkness in order to be near they imprisoned loved ones at Yalda Night.

The Executioners and torturers of Evin Prison exerted pressures on families to leave the place and said: “Your children are in the hands of Intelligence Ministry and in ward 209 (the horrible ward of Evin prison).”
