Former Iran IRGC chief threatens to abduct Americans

Former Revolutionary Guards chief Mohsen Rezaie made remarks regarding the Iranian regime’s nuclear crisis and US officials raising the stakes of a military option still being on the table if an agreement is not reached. In an interview with the IRGC’s Fars news agency he said, “The Americans have reached the conclusion that negotiating is a better option. I want to tell them and all US government officials that negotiations are your only option, meaning don’t take the smiles of Rouhani and Zarif for granted.
“13 years ago this Rouhani and Zarif gave you smiles and you didn’t listen. Then we slapped you in the face with 20,000 centrifuges and our uranium enrichment. Now we are suggesting that you pay attention to this new smile of Rouhani, so that you wouldn’t be slapped in the face again in future with 100,000 centrifuges.
“The other issue is that Americans must know they can’t take any military action against us… If the Americans have a negative viewpoint of Iran, and even if they are thinking of a military attack, rest assured that in the first week we will apprehend 1,000 Americans and then they will have to pay a few billion dollars for each of them to be released… We recommend that they bring an end to all such thoughts,” he bullied.
