Various sectors of people particularly workers and students staged demonstrations, sit-ins and gatherings to express their anger against the suppression and rapacity of the mullahs’ regime.

In Tehran, more than 200 students of the Urban Planning College of Khajeh Nassir University protested against the suppressive verdicts of the disciplinary committee and chanted anti-government slogans. They said two students were deprived of education on hollow allegations.

The residents of township “Beheshti” in Tehran blocked the highway Babaii-Sadra to protest the continued water cut-off; the protesters were mostly women.

In Sari, northern Iranian city, a group of retired teachers of Mazandaran province gathered in front of the organization of education and culture to protest against not paying their retirement salaries.

In Semnan, a number of taxi drivers gathered in front of the governorate building to protest against the low rate of taxi fare.

In Tehran, a group of workers of Shadanpour Shoe Company gathered in front of the social security building at Fatemi Street to ask for their unpaid salaries.
