Dervish prisoners detained in Shiraz joined the Dervish prisoners on hunger strike in Tehran’s Evin Prison, raising the number of these Dervish members on hunger strike to nine.
The Dervish members on hunger strike have added to their demands, issuing a statement saying, “Until the full freedom of the Dervish community members from prison and senior officials responding to the years of human rights violations against Dervishes and ending the enmity of idiots in religious clothing, we will continue our hunger strike; this time we are ready for death and we have written our wills…”
