Currency crisis continuing in Iran

The state-run Fars News Agency said in a report on Tehran’s market: “Lines to buy government dollars are still busy”. This state-run news agency said: “The sale of foreign currency to ordinary people has been banned.”
This report included an increase in the price of foreign currency and quoted people waiting in lines as saying, “While last week the dollar was 10400 rials, this week it has reached 12500 rials.” Another person said: “I think that the government is raising the price of the dollar on purpose, selling its dollars this way”.
