Creating a job has tripled in price, Rouhani minister says

Rouhani’s Minister of Labor admitted the price of creating each job in Iran has increased to over 4 billion rials (around $120,000).
According to the state-run Mardom Salari daily on June 9th, Ali Rabie said the reason behind this matter is the rate of economic growth being at -5.8 percent.
“If in the past years there was a need for 1.5 billion rials investment was needed to create a job, taking into consideration the negative growth rate currently this price has reached 4 billion rials in investments,” he said, adding Rouhani’s cabinet will be preventing any short-term loans.
