Workers of a ship docking facility clashed with the suppressive forces on Tuesday Dec. 2nd. The clashes started when security forces dispatched to the dock prevented day workers to enter the dock area as a mean to charge them entrance fees. The workers, who had never paid any fees before, rejected this new extortion saying that they wouldn’t pay any bribe money. The security forces then canceled their passes and prevented them from entering the premises.
The dock workers’ perseverance forced the security forces to back off and let the workers in. one worker was injured during the clashes.
