Bahrain condemned Iran’s interferences in the region and rejected the velayat-e faqih principle, holding the mullahs’ regime responsible for these measures in the region.
“The main source threatening the security of countries in the region are trends that, through the velayat-e faqih principle, have turned religion into a political tool for their own advantage. They take actions against the national security of Bahrain and other Arab countries through affiliates that support the velayat-e faqih principle,” Khaled bin Ali al-Khalifa, the Bahrain Minister of Justice said to the country’s main news agency.
“Various diplomatic representatives have established relations with specific mullahs and are dictating activities that are in the interests of the velayat-e faqih,” he added.
“This dangerous process, by misusing religion, takes place to create sectarianism and social rifts,” al-Khalifa concluded.
