An advisor of Ahmadinejad said he is to meet with Khamenei over the apprehension of his press secretary Javanfekr.
“This measure by the judiciary took place exactly during his trip to New York and his speech in the United Nations,” said Ahmadinejad advisor mullah Abbas Amirifard.
“Unfortunately, the method used to arrest the president’s press secretary was inappropriate. Security groups with loudspeakers and escorts came to his home, which was inappropriate,” he added.
After returning from New York, Ahmadinejad had expressed his complete discontent over the arrest of his press secretary, adding he will follow up on this issue.
