More than 3000 angry workers of Tehran’s Alborz Tire Company gathered outside and inside the factory and while chanting anti-government slogans staged a demonstration despite the extensive presence of suppressive State Security Forces (SSF).

The workers, who have been on strike and sit-in for more than three weeks, while lighting fires and gathering in the factory yard chanted” workers are not afraid of being killed for achieving their rights ” , “Unity, unity is the key to victory” , ” Mayor, district governor, this is the last warning”.

The workers protested for their 4-month unpaid salaries. They rejected mullahs’ regime’s officials’ promises and announced they would continue their strike as long as their demands were met.

This protest has started 22 days ago and still continues.
