Jaber Sakhravi, 30 years of age and a computer graduate from a town near the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz, was transferred from an intelligence bureau center to Karoun Prison on June 17. He was arrested back on Wednesday, March 26th, for changing his religion from Shiite to Sunni.
“Jaber Sakhravi was paralyzed from waist down and his eye vision has deteriorated to a point that he can’t see anything more than a meter away,” said human rights activist Karim Dahimi. “Jaber Sakhravi is suffering from a brain tumor and needs urgent treatment in a hospital. He also suffered a light heart attack three years ago.” (NCRI – June 25, 2014)
