Massoud Rajavi, the only survivor of PMOI’s initial Central Committee, who was released through the people’s efforts, from Shah’s dungeons along with the last group of political prisoners, delivered his first speech on January 24, 1979, in Tehran University Mosque at the presence of tens of thousands of people eager to see him. In his speech, he presented a short report on 14 years of PMOI activities and 7 years of imprisonment. Massoud Rajavi stressed on reverence of freedom and condemned monopolizations disguised by Islamic clamors.
