Discovery of X-Ray

On January 5, 1985, Wilhelm Roentgen, the German Physicist, discovered X-Ray which was named Roentgen Ray after him.
Opposite to the normal ray, X-Ray is able to pass through the objects and that is why it is used for photography of inside of the body.
With this significant discovery, Roentgen received Noble Prize in Physics in 1901.
