Intelligence sources revealed activities of Iranian spy units in Iraqi cities neighboring Saudi Arabia, al-Rafidain TV reported.
There is information indicating Iranian intelligence units stationing in Iraq’s al-Mothana Province and the Iraq-Kuwait-Saudi Arabia region triangle to facilitate the crossing of elements into Saudi soil, sources said.
Iranian intelligence units, disguised as ranchers, have installed surveillance devices throughout the Iraq-Saudi border along with stationing various units in these regions to spy on the kingdom, the sources added.
Iranian intel units stationing in this area is taking place in coordination with Iraqi border guards and the Ministry of Transportation, the sources continued, and there are officials in the current government closing their eyes to these activities. This is while these measures are aimed at provoking sectarianism in Saudi Arabia’s eastern region.
